Ms. Monica Rasmussen
Monica Rasmussen has been teaching English at the secondary level for 10 years. She has taught all levels from English Language Learners to AP English and delights in seeing her students grow in their reading and writing abilities. She graduated from California State University Sacramento in 2003 with a degree in English and a minor in French and earned her teaching credential in 2004. Over her career in teaching Ms.Rasmussen has been pushing herself to develop in many areas of education. She has served as a mentor for new teachers, participated in WASC visiting committees, coached debate team, served on leadership teams, and led student council and student activities. Currently, Ms. Rasmussen is enrolled in a graduate program at San Francisco State University working toward a Masters Degree in Language and Literacy. Ms. Rasmussen is really excited about being a part of the Saint Elizabeth family where she teaches English 9, English 10 and is the Director of Student Activities.
