Why St. Elizabeth
Greetings and welcome to St. Elizabeth High School! We are delighted that you are considering St. Elizabeth as your next step in education.
For over 90 years, Saint Elizabeth High School has provided a quality Catholic education for young people in the Fruitvale District of Oakland and surrounding communities. We are committed to fostering self-esteem and preparing students for college, challenging them to live and proclaim the Gospel message, achieve academic success and secure skills necessary for a life lived according to God’s plan.
Our electives in the arts and sciences provide opportunities for students to explore personal areas of interest and develop as well-rounded persons. Students are required to complete 280 Semester Units and 100 Hours of Christian Service in four years. Co-curricular activities and athletics complement the academic program and are a vital part of the total program. Our program provides opportunities for students to deepen their faith, develop their individual talents and interests, leadership potential, and social skills.
The time spent at St. Elizabeth is instrumental in preparing students for their future.
